Urgent: Thousands of Kids Depend On This Space—Donate Now, Please!

B-YEC faces an urgent crossroads: our lease is ending. After two years of negotiation and occupancy, our building owner has given us one ultimatum—buy our 15,000 sq. ft. facility property or lose rights to the property. We’ve explored alternative properties extensively, and there are no other school buildings available.

Losing this space will disrupt the education and futures of thousands of neurodiverse and underserved children already waiting on a 3,000-student backlog for specialized support. Your donation directly secures a permanent home for transformative education, empowering children facing developmental challenges like Dyslexia, Autism, ADHD, and Down Syndrome.

We’ve raised $225,531, but we need your immediate support to reach $1.8 million by July 1, 2025 to secure this vital learning space. Every dollar matters—donations are tax-deductible and fully refundable if our goal isn’t met. We’re open to alternative funding options or loans.

Help us secure a permanent home for these young innovators.
Your generosity preserves their futures. Thank you for standing with us.

The Problem?

Neurodiverse Youth are Locked Out of Tech Opportunities

  • Systemic Exclusion: More than 3,000 youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), including Autism, Down Syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy, are currently waiting for specialized services in Greater Boston..
  • Limited Access: Despite Boston’s innovation-rich environment, neurodiverse students have severely limited educational opportunities—with only 5 dedicated schools in the region.
  • Lost Talent: Neurodiverse individuals are significantly underrepresented in technology careers, missing out on jobs where their unique skills could thrive
  • Untapped Potential: When provided specialized, technology-driven education, neurodiverse students show exceptional innovation and creative problem-solving abilities, yet traditional models fail to nurture these strengths.

Why Traditional Models Have Failed Neurodiverse Youth:

  • Public schools struggle with overcrowded, one-size-fits-all classrooms, unable to support individualized need
  • After-school programs rarely include specialized support services for neurodiverse learners.
  • Standard technology education lacks adaptive tools necessary for neurodiverse students to succeed.
  • Without specialized intervention, students with IDD face disproportionately high barriers to higher education and employment opportunities.
Without targeted support, thousands of neurodiverse youth risk lifelong economic and social marginalization, missing critical opportunities to contribute their unique talents to our communities and the broader innovation economy.
